Well, the first mailing of www.canadiangospelproject.ca to Newfoundland was a success. We have received emails back, letting us know that at least one has been saved. Several are looking for good churches, and others have shared requests for prayer. We have tried to pair them up with pastors on the island that might be able to help them either find Christ, or find what is missing in their lives. People have responded to the postcards, Google searches, and friends recommending the site.

In our next mailing, we will be trying to incorporate Facebook and Instagram ads as well. That adds a fair bit to the cost, but we think it may be worth it in the long run. We are so thankful to the good number of people that helped financially and allowed us to see all but about $7,000 come in to cover the cost.

We are looking at which area we should mail to next: the Territories, Nova Scotia, and/or New Brunswick. The Territories have around 150,000 people, and each province has approximately 1 million people. That’s a mailing of 50,000 or 300,000 homes at a cost of $0.40 each, and with ad costs in Google, Facebook, and Instagram, the cost will be upwards of $250,000 to cover both provinces, and $30,000 for the Territories.

At the same time, we just ordered 400,000 John and Romans for the United States project. 150,000 will be assembled in Canada, and the rest at our sister ministry in Beckley, West Virginia. We are thrilled to have about $30,000 on hand for those, but the balance of $170,000 is still going to need to be raised. We await the Lord’s incredible hand of blessing and miraculous supply that we’ve seen for over 20 years.
